At one time or another, you may have thought to yourself or confided in friends that you would like to start a business. It is a rarity to meet someone who has not had this dream at one time or another. In some cases the dream is closer to reality than you might think. It is a matter of convincing yourself that the idea has merit and can be built into a thriving business. Where do you start? This is the big question and often the biggest step. Geting help and getting started. There is an orginization that is available to all of us and I was fortunate to be introduced to them at the beginning of my venture into Small Business.

I am fortunate to have a business associate who is associated with an organiztion named SCORE.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. They have been helping small businesses for nearly fifty years.

SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), are built of network of 12,000+ volunteers, and are able to deliver services at no charge or at very low cost.
